We’re looking for lots of volunteers to help us pull off a safe and successful Summer Market and World Refugee Day celebration!
World Refugee Day is an international holiday honoring people who have been forced to flee. On June 22, 2024, we will be celebrating in Columbia through our new Summer Market, where many of our refugee friends are eager to sell and share their products with the broader Columbia community. There will be food for sale, activities for the kids, and multi-cultural entertainment.
Afterward, we will host a private event meant for refugees to gather and celebrate their shared courage through food, activities, and performances honoring the cultures of home!
