Celebrating Hope, Strength, and Belonging
City of Refuge’s World Refugee Day Celebration is an annual event for local refugees honoring their strength, resilience, and spirit.
At City of Refuge, the journey of the people we serve is at the heart of everything we do; Every dish we serve through City Cuisine, every apartment lease we help set up, every doctors appointment we assist in translating, every preschool student graduating to kindergarten, every English class, every meal we share, is a celebration of the people we serve. Their stories, their heritage, and their hope for a brighter future.
Refugee families and friends are invited to join us for an afternoon of celebration featuring food, music, performances, and activities for all ages.
Volunteers Make It Possible
Volunteers make our events possible! We need volunteers to help with:
- Event set-up and tear-down
- Running activities
- Welcome and information table
