Celebrating Stories of Belonging

Nations to Neighbors is an annual community fundraiser hosted by City of Refuge in Columbia, Missouri, celebrating the journey of refugee families who arrive from nations around the world and become neighbors in the community.

Hosted onsite at City of Refuge, the event features stories, food from City Cuisine, and community connection, highlighting the impact of local support for refugees building new lives in Columbia. The evening reflects City of Refuge’s guiding belief: giving locally, loving globally, and gives guests the chance to experience City of Refuge’s mission firsthand and learn how recurring generosity creates lasting impact. Adult tickets are $30, kids 5 – 12 years old are $10, and kids under 5 are free.

Volunteers make our events possible! We need volunteers to help with:

  • Event set-up and tear-down
  • Running activities
  • Welcome and information table
